Astral Server is a formerly home lab ran environment looking to offer free to use services.
Our Story
Astral Server started off as a home lab setup with the desire to break away from big tech companies. As I began to increase the services I was able to switch away from, I had friends also interested in services of mine. This slowly grew and I now exclusively use my own hosted solutions for many services such as "Cloud Storage" and "Web Searching." With this being so simple to setup and maintain, I wanted to bring Open Source solutions to more people who could benefit from making the switch without the need to learn how to set it all up.
Future?
With my goal of moving away from big tech, I want Astral Server to fill the service void that breaking away entails. As I have time I will be continuing to expand to more and more services that I feel is worth switching to and bringing it to those who want to use them.
